1. DOCUMENT PURPOSE & DEFINED SCOPE
This technical specification document (ID: A1A10000623.00M) establishes the mandatory engineering, performance, design, safety and quality requirements for Siemens power control modules, drive systems and integrated electrical automation assemblies. All specifications are binding for Siemens engineering divisions, certified suppliers, project execution teams and authorized partners worldwide. Full compliance is required for all design, manufacturing, assembly, testing and field deployment activities related to the referenced product portfolio. This document supersedes all prior draft specifications and informal technical guidelines for the applicable product range.
2. APPLICABILITY & ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 Scope of Application
Applicable to all Siemens medium-voltage power control units, frequency converter drive assemblies, power distribution modules, electrical control cabinets and associated firmware/software components. Valid for global industrial applications including power generation, oil & gas, metallurgical processing, water treatment and heavy manufacturing automation systems.
2.2 Stakeholder Accountabilities
Siemens Global Engineering shall ensure full design compliance. Siemens Quality Assurance shall conduct validation audits across all product lifecycle phases. Certified component suppliers shall adhere to all material and manufacturing specifications. End-user technical teams shall implement equipment per the installation and operational guidelines defined in this document.
